Weekly inventory update

The number of new or returned listings this week, despite losing a few that seem expired, resulted in Santa Santa Monica inventory <$3M up 12%, Pacific Palisades <$2M up 14%, and Palms-Mar Vista up 9%.

ok, here we go. the first sign that many of the people who listed in the winter *need* to sell.

judging from what i'm seeing on the MLS feeds I get (many high quality homes dropping into price buckets that I consider reasonable for the west side), the spring of 08 is going to be a bloodbath.

it will destroy the myth that the high end is unique.
