Fast food ruin

Something different for the Fourth of July: Rome has its millenia-old ruins like the Coliseum. West L.A. has its decades-old Burger King ruin, on the north side of Santa Monica Blvd., east of Bundy. Wonder what was intended here, and why nothing has happened?

I went through the drive through once when I had the flu and wanted comfort food. That was 9 years ago. It had that overgrown look even then.

Don't know anything about that location. However, I am interested in knowing what is going on with the empty lot on the corner of Wilshire and 23rd. It has been empty forever and seems like a prime commercial location. What is the deal?

I was just looking on Craigslist and saw a handfull of north of Montana homes for rent. Highest rent was $20K/month for a huge 6 bedroom place. One of the homes I saw looked to be brand new and I think it may also be for sale. Is is common to see so many ultra high end places for rent?

I know in a lot of places people try to rent houses and condos out instead of selling if they are stuck for one reason or another and can't really sell. Any thoughts?

If I had some capital I'd turn it into a Wendy's. Culver is too far to drive for my Jr Bacon Cheeseburger fix.

They are taking away DOM info from the MLS...guess that ends the debate on relistings. Anyone else read the book 1984?

War Chest, I agree, hiding information in the name of customer service is appalling. Although as long as Zip Realty publishes Listing Dates I'll be ok.

I heard the property is owned by sisters, who are in a dispute...its a shame, its truly west-la blight!
