Weekly inventory update

6/12/09 - SM and PP inventories are up a little. Conversely it's almost a buying mania in lower-priced Mar Vista listings. I'll do a sales update for all three after the end of June.

6/5/09 - All are up for the week except Santa Monica over $3M, down, and it seems a lot of new price reductions.

Anybody know what happened during the Villa Bella condo auction in the Palisades?! I see a few of the listings are still for sale...

Yes, I'd be curious about the Villa Bella condo auction, as well.

My guess is that it was nothing more than hype, subterfuge and fraud. In otherwords, business as usual for residential real estate!

So, pray tell, what happened?

Only one of those have closed since my 5/6/09 SM & PP Sales update: 1128 Marine, 5/21/09, $675K.

There are a few more in escrow that I hope will be available for my end-of-June sales update. I have no info on the PP condo auction.

I would say 800-900K for SP tear downs...just me observations.

Does anyone know what the redone house on 14th and Hill sold for.....??? That was listed at 1.6 and seemed to go off market quickly.
